Besides cultural presentations, we engage in art education & art promotion through activities/shows/programs. We have in common –
- ‘Kalamshu Art Award’ puraskar – a prestigious art award to recognize & honour a senior artist with exemplary achievements & contribution in art field.
- ‘Kalamshu Kalasiri’ awards to senior experts & artists contributing to art.
- Honouring meritorious students – to encourage talented students in art.
- ‘Kalamshu art scholarship’ – to help economically weak, young artists based on their merit and means, to pursue and continue their interests.
- Free anklet distribution program – to help financially poor – beginners
- Free book distribution – the Kalamshu handbooks & art related books (to restricted members)
- Free dance & music education to needy disciples & deserving students of art
- Charity programmes / special art workshops – for specially abled children.
- Organize lecture demonstrations & performances by renowned artists in association with SpicMacay Bengaluru, on sponsorship basis
- Camps/workshops/lecture programs/discourses – as part of creating awareness, encourage and promotion of art education.
Identify arts with rich heritage but not so popular – planning programs to preserve them & bring them to the fore.
